Our athletic event mobile snack truck was named for Phyllis Carley, Harker’s biggest sports fan. She worked and volunteered for Harker for more than 50 years, starting in 1952. 125th Anniversary Memories

One year our school bus (a 1969 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser Station Wagon, one of a fleet of six or so) was out of commission, so they used Major Donald Nichols’ personal 1968 black Cadillac limousine, with Mrs. Cimonini driving, for our route that year. It must have raised some neighbors’ eyebrows seeing me standing out front of my house, dressed in my uniform, getting picked up for private school in a limo!
